MTS AI employee joins AI Alliance Science Council

Valentin Malykh, head of NLP research at MTS AI, was selected to join the AI Alliance Science Council. It includes the country’s best scientists – research supervisors whose students have published papers at leading world AI conferences. Important criteria also included participation in educational activities and socially significant initiatives for the development of artificial intelligence.

  • Valentin authored over 100 scientific papers, including at conferences such as ACL, COLING, AAAI, NeurIPS.
  • He teaches at HSE University, ITMO University and MIPT.
  • Created an online NLP course that over 5,000 students have already taken.

Our colleague and other members of the AI Alliance Science Council will develop recommendations to support and advance research, interact with business representatives, and promote international cooperation.

The AI Alliance brings together leading tech companies to jointly develop their expertise and enable accelerated implementation of artificial intelligence in education, research, and business practices. PJSC MTS is one of the co-founders of the organization.
