MTS AI invested in Just AI (Just AI Limited), a company engaged in research and development of conversational artificial intelligence technology. As part of the deal, MTS bought 7.5% of the shares for RUB187.7 million and received an observer status on the Board of Directors of Just AI.
Kirill Petrov, Just AI managing director and co-founder, notes: “Today, MTS is one of the strongest industry players in the AI field, including conversational artificial intelligence. The experience and the company’s own developments in this area are complementary to ours in many ways. The synergy from our products and technology, the practices of their use, joint experiments, as it seems, will drive not only the implementation of new projects in each of our companies, but also the development of the Russian conversational AI market in general.”
